Become a Member

Why should I become a member of Stages? Whether or not you are a writer, membership of Stages has many benefits including:

• Regular e-mail bulletins, including details of activities offered by Stages and other organisations
• Discounts for our assessment services
• Free or discounted entry to most workshops, seminars and readings
• Discounted theatre tickets to most Western Australian theatre companies
• The contact and solidarity with fellow writers and theatre practitioners
• Voting rights at Stages Annual General Meeting

Stages has four general categories of membership:

1. Category 1 – playwrights having at least one professional credit
2. Category 2 – subsidised theatre companies
3. Category 3 – arts organisations other than subsidised theatre companies, and
4. Category 4 – persons not covered by categories 1-3

Memberships run from January to December and cost $27.50 (GST inc.)

New members pay:

• $27.50 (joining between January 1 and March 30)
• $22.00 (joining between April 1 and September 30)
• $11.00 (joining between October 1 and December 31)
