Script Development Funding

Through the Stages Script development Program Stages provides a range of services for the development of new scripts and performance texts which may include but are not limited to one of the following.

• One-on-one dramaturgical consultation with an experienced dramaturge
• A workshop for a playwright to spend time developing her/his script with a director, dramaturge and actors.
• A public or private reading with a professional director and actors.

If you are an emerging or established (See definitions) playwright (or writer for performance) you are eligible to submit an application to Stages for support under this program.

2010 deadlines for submission to this Program: last day of February, April, June, August, and October. Before submitting an application, you will need to contact Stages’ Director on 9201 1168.
